How the stage used to look

Another great Pizza Time Theatre show from Smitty's!

This location was one of the most unique stores I've been to. Showroom walls, Must C TV posters AND Record posters together, as well as the vintage collectible shelves. This showroom formerly housed a Road Stage.

This fantastic animated show sings the classic "Happy Birthday" song that I remember from my childhood. Notice how every character is active in this song, each with lively, fluid movements.

Never recorded this until now. Please excuse some of these older segments, but I never was able to record them during that time. I am making up for what’s missed before the show indefinitely ceases to exist next month.

This short clip was taken in December 2017, when I spent a day in Brandon to work on their show. Only SO much can be done in one day. Jasper and Munch received most of the attention. Most of the repairs were made to the characters' hands and eyes. Helen needs many other parts before she can get better. Remember, Tampa Helen used to be worse!

In this video, we pause the show and get up near the stage to get a closer look at Billy Bob and Looney Bird. When the show is paused, it saves the current signal on the Apple II computer and holds the characters in position. How cool is that?

Thank you J-CEC for the awesome thumbnail!! Give his channel a look! For the FIRST time, Chuck E. blinks! Working eyelids means he is now 100% complete! I finally installed his rod ends, hex cap screws, and the eyelid collar crank attached to his cylinder. I fitted a barb to his air return line for this movement, and hooked up his air lines. His eyelids are brand new, so they are using light air pressure, and sometimes get stuck downward. They were installed on the SAME day of filming, so they need some time to break in. Also note that Jasper's eye turns and guitar arms are fixed (improvement from the last video)

I set up a tripod in front of the stage while controlling the character's head tilts via the ProCommanderLTC show panel!

An update on Tallahassee's show. A lot better... but I still wish I could work on them and make them perfect!

After Chuck demonstrated the concept of trick-or-treating to Munch in last year's show, they actually go out and try it this time! Chuck quickly finds himself helping Munch out with yet another obstacle this Halloween.
